50th Anniversary Lunch

50^th ANNIVERSARY

50^th ANNIVERSARY

The Club reaches its 50^th anniversary on the 5^th March and as announced in the previous newsletter, the official celebration will be held on Sunday 22 July with a BBQ at the home of Christine & Tony in Layer-de-la-Haye near Colchester.

This event will also incorporate the Past Members & Friends of C.& E.A. lunch meeting for 2012 and we would like as many of these members as possible to attend as they have all been part and parcel of the success of the club albeit in years gone by. We hope that all those who attended the lunch on 6 November last plus those who were unable for various reasons to join us on that occasion will be able to join us for this special event.

Efforts will be made to try and trace other former members and if any current or former member knows the whereabouts of anybody would they please let Maurice know.

We also hope that members from our twin club of Rotterdam-Den Haag and Region will come over for this event and that skålleagues from other UK Clubs will join us for this historic occcasion.
