The clocks have changed and Hallowe’en is over. Where is the year going? The clock change means a bit of a lie-in but the afternoons are shorter so time in the garden is curtailed. Time to do some planning and dreaming of that ideal garden - not here in Litlington any time soon! We’ve had a new and expanded patio area flagged and preparation made for sorting out the pond in the early spring. We will leave the frogs to hibernate over winter, although I think most of the local population are currently hiding in the veg patch. Quite a shock when weeding.

Haven’t heard very much about the International from Mombasa other than a few political bits but below you’ll find a social piece from Julie Oliphant. I did hear that it was very hot. We’ve not been doing too bad ourselves with temperatures for October!
